Vintage Silverplate Fork Wm rogers 1914 Rosemary Find It Hanging Purse Key Chain
Tired of digging through your purse looking for your keys? No problem if you use this upcycled, repurposed vintage silverplate fork. Attach your keys to the ring, and hang it with the handle on the outside of your purse top or over the waist band of your pants or pants pocket. Just grab and go, no digging around to find your keys.
Pretty and Practical, what a great combination….some bling for your purse.
I’ve created this keychain from my supply of vintage silverplate forks I’ve collected over the years. This pattern is 1914 Rosemary by Wm Rogers. Designed by John Leech, this pattern is also known by the names Monroe, and New Englad and Stratford. After years of use, expect to see some scratches and scuffs, possibly some plate wear. I have polished this piece. If over time, you want it shiny again, buff with an old piece of soft t-shirt. Using silverplate tends to keep the tarnish off.
Let me know if you have a family silverware pattern you would like turned into a purse hook key chain.
If you don’t have pieces of silverware you remember from your family gatherings, let me know the name of the pattern and I might have pieces in my collection….
